Dr. Derr practices with a gentle touch.

"I believe it is not about force to move the bone, but my intention to move the interference and yours to release it. I know that through my heart I ask God the Creator to send his healing light through me to help others. We all have the capacity to heal ourselves, yet sometimes we need some guidance."

Dr. Derr has been an athlete all her life, participating in Marathons and other walks and runs. She currently speed walks in Marathons to raise money for United In Light, Inc.

She has been the team Chiropractor for many nonprofit organizations such as Leukemia Society's Team in Training, 26.2 Club, Stroke Association and many more.

Yes, Animals need chiropractic too! Since 1996, Dr. Derr has worked with animals using manual techniques, and in 1990 was trained in Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (V.O.M).

V.O.M. allows pet owners to see where the misalignments are, actually watch the healing process, and ultimately give their pet the chance to live a happier life.

Dr. Derr has worked on animals with disc problems, lameness, cancer and other illnesses, arthritis, hip dysplasia, paralysis and with owners who have made the choice to aid in preventative health for their four-legged loved ones.

All of Dr. Derr's Services on humans and animals go to help the Draft horses of United In Light, Inc.

"Animals are one of the purest channels of unconditional love. In the past 7 years of my practice an increasing number of animals have presented with human diseases, the causes being environmental, nutrition and stress. Because animals are so pure of love, they want to help heal their owner by taking away their pain, sickness or stress. Unfortunately some animals do not know what to do with that energy once it is in their bodies."

With Dr. Derr's teachings through Chiropractic, VOM, Shamanism and Reiki, she has helped many animals and their owners. By no means should any alternative health care substitute for regular Veterinary appointments. Dr. Derr, D.C. works along with Veterinarians and other professions to give your loved ones the best in animal health care. Dr. Derr makes no claims of healing animals or humans. The healing comes from within ones self, if so chosen.
